Nokia N950 based MeeGo OS
Despite holding Windows Phone 7 as the main OS, Nokia does not necessarily leave OS MeeGo. In fact, Nokia officials confirmed the presence of the Nokia N950 as a new handset-based MeeGo, OS that Nokia worked with Intel.

Nokia N950 serve as the successor of the N900. Designation is more to the developers and those who understand technology or the like to modify a gadget. N950 existence was confirmed by Rich Green, Chief Technology Officer of Nokia in a developer forum.
Green also stated Nokia N950 will be used for testing Qt based application platform. This is an indication that the N950 is more intended for developers as a means to experiment and not to general consumers. Nokia N950 promised this release in 2011. Arrival N950 as ensuring that the N9 which previously expected to be the first handset MeeGo, will not launch the Finnish smartphone vendor.
