Nokia E71 and Nokia E63 firmware updated to v500.21.009
Just a quick update to all the Nokia E71 and Nokia E63 users out there. The E63’s firmware gets an update to v.500.21.009. And this is a major update. And it will be available only on Nokia Software Updater. Before updating your phones software, Backup your phones data using Ovi suite. And its a must! Because the Nokia E63 doesn’t have the UDP(User Data Prevention) feature. I repeat do take a backup of ur contacts, messages, calender etc and restore it on phone via ovi suite again. Lets see whats improved.
This new update is available in some areas, if any among the readers who can not download this update may be a little patient because Nokia will deploy this firmware for all E63 users worldwide.
In this firmware update Nokia has added several new features and functions, as follows:

hello there, if i update my e71 with arabic keypads, will it remap my keyboards to the usual e71 functions? because i have this (!) in Q, (?) in P, and other punctuations on other letters, unlike the usual e71 units..

gr8 news, I have purchased e71 8 months ago and before 3 months I have upgraded it by v410.21.010 firmware but I think this version would be beneficial for it.

I recently updated my e63′s firmware to 500.21.009.
The mobile has become even faster and hanging problem has disappeared.
But as u hav mentioned about the music player update, i didnt find any difference in it before and after upgradation. Pls tell what type of change is there in the music player…i am located in India.
