Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit is one slick looking game. From the car models to environments, everything about this game screams polish. While it’s something EA has always been good at, NFS:HP is no different. With that being said, most people will approach this game with the expectations that it has all the components of its console brethren but alas, that is not the case. The game is completely devoid of the racer portion in that you can only play as the police, leaving the player feeling a bit taken advantage of.
Stop racers cold in high-speed police cars like the Lamborghini Reventon, and challenge a friend to a head-to-head Cop vs. Racer showdown via local WiFi or Bluetooth. Made to maximize the Retina Display, the eye-popping visual quality will blow you away!
The upcoming free app for the Criterion Studios-developed game will allow players to check to see if your friends are beating your times in the game and even challenge them to races which you can do when you get home to play the main game. It will also offer news updates and other features. There’s no word on when the app will be released.
