iOS 4.3.2 now fixes iPad 3G and FaceTime
Hit up your iTunes, for version 4.3.2 of iOS is now available for downloading and updating. Fixes for occasional “blank or frozen” FaceTime video and iPad 3G issues get top billing, while the obligatory security updates fill out the rest. The size of this mighty software drop? A hefty 666.2MB.
Impact: An attacker with a privileged network position may intercept user credentials or other sensitive information.
This update contains improvements and other bug fixes including:
- Fixes an issue that occasionally caused blank or frozen video during a FaceTime call
- Fixes an issue that prevented some international users from connecting to 3G networks on iPad Wi-Fi + 3G
- Contains the latest security updates
Description: Several fraudulent SSL certificates were issued by a Comodo affiliate registration authority. This may allow a man-in-the-middle attacker to redirect connections and intercept user credentials or other sensitive information about iOS 4.3.2. This issue is addressed by blacklisting the fraudulent certificates.
