Install Android 2.2.1 XWJS5 ROM on Samsung Galaxy S
The XWJS5 developer has released Android 2.2.1 Froyo Custom ROM for Samsung Galaxy S. Now, if you are intrested to install I9000XWJS5 ROM Froyo 2.2.1 ROM on Samsung Galaxy S then follow the guide written below. At the moment I9000XWJS5 Froyo 2.2 ROM beta is available which does not support all apps.
Here is step by step guide to flash XWJS5 Rom Into SGS I9000
- Download I9000XWJS5 ROM + Odin
- Extract Archive
- Turn off your Samsung Galaxy S and wait for 30 seconds
- Press and Hold Volume Down + Power + Home Key For 3 Sec Once In Download mode
- Open Odin3 v1.7.exe
- Connect your phone to computer with usb cabel
- Select s1_odin_20100803.pit file in Pit
- Select I9000XWJS3-REV03-ALL-low-CL830616.tar.md5 in PDA
- Select MODEM_I9000XXJPY.tar.md5 in Phone
- Select GT-I9000-CSC-XENJS3.tar.md5 in CSC
- Tick Re-Partition and Auto- Reboot Option
- Press Start Button and Wait
- Your phone is flashed with latest I9000XSJS5 Rom
Note :1st boot will take some time.
