Grid Touch Qt main feature of Symbian^3
Qt apps is a great replacement for the native Symbian menu system. Some of might remember an app called Grid Touch. Well, now the boys at OffScreen Technologies have yet again, true to their form, updated their previous app to Qt.

Let me present you Grid touch Qt 1.5. This is a replacement application for those who are tired to have the original menu system Symbian. Grid 1.5 touch consists of 9 pages of different menus that can be displayed at one time or zoomed in any direction (or touch to be precise with your finger). Given the fact that this app is written in Qt, o’so it smooth and flowing. It is a nice little elastic effects transitions between pages. Subtle, but nice.
Here are the main features of Grid Touch 1.5 Qt:
- Menu key integration (can be switched off at will)
- You can hide apps from the Grid Touch menu
- You can organize the order of the apps easily
- Wallpaper can be changed (there are many different wallpaper, but apparently you cannot use your own picture as wallpaper)
- You can rename the pages
- Search via text
