Foursquare Officially Present at Nokia
After a long wait, finally the official application Foursquare, was present for the Symbian platform. Foursquare arrival at Symbian fairly slow when compared to other platforms such as BlackBerry, Android, and iPhone. But at least, Nokia users can download this application on Ovi Store.
Thus, Nokia has kept his promise after the event Nokia World 2010, the Finnish company that promised to deliver shortly Foursquare at virtual stores.
Applications for this Nokia phone allows users to access the features contained in the Foursquare in full. Users can immediately check in with just chose the ‘places’ like the iPhone and Android’s application.
In appearance, the menus in this application is not much different to that of BlackBerry, Android or iPhone. However, these applications have one other advantage that has not owned any other platform.
When tested, the most prominent feature of this application version is the homescreen widgets in front of the Nokia menu. With this, users can directly monitor the latest information in their Foursquare account without opening it first.
