Creating Sub-Folder on Symbian S60 Phones
I thought it is even possible to create sub-folder inside a folder on S60 phones. What I can do here is just adding screenshot to the tutorial on Nokia Discussion. The steps are a little bit tricky. You may have to try several times before you can actually create a sub-folder.
- Create a new folder by selecting Options | New folder from the main menu, for example “Test”

- Move this folder to the top-left position (position 1).

- Move the highlight to an application in position 5.

- Press Options menu and move the highlight to “Move to folder” menu. Do not press OK yet. If you press OK, it won’t work.

- Press Power key of your phone and select “Offline” menu. This will change your profile to Offline mode. Meanwhile, you should notice that the highlight has changed to position 1. It means your new folder is now selected.

- Select “Move to folder” menu and move your new folder to another folder.
- Now you have a sub-folder inside another folder. As you can see below, I have created a new sub-folder, called Test, inside Applications folder.
Compatible devices: S60 2nd Edition FP2, FP3, 3rd Edition, Nokia Nseries, Nokia Eseries.
