You can deleted unneeded languages in your phone. So, those languages don’t appear on any selection lists anymore. It didn’t free up tons of memory (only a few MB), but a little is better than nothing. Adding languages on the other hand is very tricky and the easiest way to do it, is downloading a Firmware update with your own language pack and delete the unwanted languages from there.

First problem is finding out which language has which number. The scandinavian language pack has the following: 01=English, 06=Swedish, 07=Danish, 08=Norwegian, 09=Finnish, 15=Icelandic, and 59=Indonesian.
