Get Android Apps for Free using Applanet

Whether you are a new user to the Android, Applanet has a familiar interface like the one found in the Android Market. Set up the same way only apps/games listed are full versions on Applanet Android. Free apps are listed as well as paid ones. You will notice the paid versions have a line through the price. Note: – that its a bit up and down. It doesn’t always work but usually it does. Usually it will auto download any new version update too.

Google Chrome for Mobile Updated to v2.3.0

Today Google released the Chrome to Phone version 2.3.0 which will update the user interface display for more modern applications. Support for application in landscape view as well, the better, even though we’ve wanted this for a long time. Finally, a bug that would make the application crash when transferring text from your computer to be repaired. One device that is most affected by this bug is a Honeycomb tablet.

Firefox 9 now Available with Type Inference

Mozilla has just released the developer version of Firefox 9 Aurora, which will include a boost for JavaScript performance. Firefox has not been good for a lot of positive headlines lately, especially since it seems to be surrendering market share to Chrome faster than the arctic its ice cover. However, it recently sent its first true rapid release (Firefox 7) out the door and there is now a good picture of Firefox 9, which could become the most significant release of the browser this year.

Firefox 7 to Eliminate URL Prefix in Address Bar

The change is expected to be integrated in Firefox 7, which is due for release at the end of September. While it seems to be only a cosmetic change, the purpose is to highlight the current browser location in a much more meaningful way and drop the protocol prefix, which has been confusing especially to users that are new or not familiar with the Internet. Firefox also greys out the “www” or subdomain of a URL, as well as the resource ID and deletes any trailing single slashes in a web address.
