Application to Download any iOS Firmware Version
A new Windows software is now available to make your iPhone and other Apple devices jailbreak a much simpler affair. The software called ipswDownloader allows you to manually download just any iOS firmware version for your iDevice.
Earlier the developer has launched the Mac only version and now today a coder has ported the application to the Windows. Here is the excerpt from note:
“I’ve ported over ipswDownloader from Mac to Windows, its initial release doesn’t include all the features of the OSX version but I’m working on adding them in the future.”
However, as the above note clarifies that the Windows version is not the full featured version that Mac users have, but the full featured Windows version is in the list. You can use the download link given at the end of this article and it’s free.
