Android 3.0 Gingerbread
The next big thing in Tech-world, the much awaited next after iPhone4 is the Android 3.0 Gingerbread update. Expected to arrive this fall, it’s promising to set new trends. Froyo, which is Android 2.2 has made improvements in speed, but the overall user experience hasn’t changed much since the early days. Besides, its even not available in most of the Android handsets. Hope Gingerbread will change this phenomenon.
Even according to information leaked, Android 3.0 Gingerbread should address the touch pads, or even to netbooks. Indeed, this version would be optimized for screens of more than 4 inches and could support a display of up to 1280 x 760 pixels. Also if Android 3.0 should reach the last quarter of 2010, note that it is also at the end of the year what the expected release of Windows 7 Phone, the new mobile operating system from Microsoft.
