50 malicious apps pulled from Android Market

According to a breathless piece of reporting by the makers of the Lookout Mobile Security Android protection system, a wave of spyware and trojan infected apps have been discovered – and kicked off the Android Market.
The apps, published by developers known as “Kingmall2010″, “we20090202″ and “Myournet” were said to be infected by a malware tool known as DroidDream, and were released under generic names like “Dice Roller”, “Spider Man” and “Advanced Sound manager”.
A good reminder to check the developer name and do a quick scan of the comments before committing to any download. Read the full list of infected app names over on the Lookout Blog.
